Urban planners and designers often forget that cities are
for people and need to design cities which best accommodate human needs. They
should design cities which are considerably more friendly, livable, and lively
because people will be in occupying these cities more with rapid population
growth globally. Cities will become more attractive with the density when
dominated by people, which is the most interesting thing in of urban life. They
would be safer due to population density and more neighbors. They would
be more sustainable because it'd be much easier where we can have a good
quality public transportation system, where we can walk in style and
dignity to and from the station day and night in safety and have a good
time doing it. A good public transportation and a good public rail are the
most important thing in cities, as they serve natural activity built in
daily lives.
We live in a technology age where we don't have to move at all to function. Unlike in the old days, most people had manual work. Now the great majority of people are sitting throughout the day, sitting on the transport, sitting during work and sitting in the evening, tired and looking at television sitting still. There is no physical activity built into the day unless we set aside special fitness time. Some of us do but most of us don’t. Cities should design to invite people to walk and bicycle as much as possible integrated in their daily activities. Even an hour of moderate exercise like walking or half an hour walk to work and half an hour back, or cycling, can give us physical and mental health benefits. If city siders start to move around themselves again, can lead to economical sustainability due to a much lower health bill to society.

To encourage this, we can do a number of things. By
making sure that car parking lots are far away from where people have to
go and there are many stairs in front of people instead of many
escalators. There's a number of things we can do to make a bicycle
system really efficient; Copenhagen for example people hardly
consider taking the car even though they have a car because it's smarter and
more economical to walk, bicycle or take public transport to
most destinations. This type of city model which is becoming more and more popular
because of social, economic and environmental sustainability.
